I am a working mother with 2 little children. Before having our children, my husband and I had worked 60-80 hours a week.
After the death of my first child 8 years ago and my mom 4 years ago, I have been feeling that life is too short to not living to the fullest and fulfill the dreams.
I have been spending as much as quality time with my families here and in Thailand and trying to keep balance with my busy work schedule.
My mom loves traveling and she has influenced me to start an on-line travel agency called TexasTourism.com since 1999. We have been donating partial profits of this business to non-profit organizations and families with children with special needs and chronic illnesses in honor of the first child we lost and our mothers. Since I travelled to Thailand once or twice a year to visit my parents, I have been able to visit and help organizations that assist children that are in orphanage home or have special needs or disabilities as well.
We have been living in San Antonio for more than 20 years where there are so many things to do for families. Since we had our children, we have been visiting places we haven’t visited in the past 20 years.
In the past 2 years, I was inspired by a friend, Melissa Arriaga, who has been fighting for cancer. She has shared her fight, love, and hope for miracles. Her stories have touched my heart. I decided to start this website to share our memorable time and stories in San Antonio and to encourage people who live here to spend quality time with their loved ones and visitors to explore our beautiful city and surrounding areas.
I also would like to work with more business partners to help raising fund for non-profit organizations and families with special needs and chronic illnesses.
Together, we can make a difference for our lives and others. We can live our lives to the fullest and reach our dreams whether they are small or big.
